work on light touches of the ball and think about how the ball responds to your kicks and if you are making this part of a long training session do the ‘skills’ work at the start of the season as technique will diminish as you fatigue.

any fool can just kick the ball hard so don’t just toe punt it as hard as you can. Work on light accurate touches with both feet and also kicking with the inside and outside of your boot.
